Mothers

At a time of few rewards,

She faced each day with poise.

In an impossible environment,

She raised three impish boys.

She loved the newest comforts,

But, set that world aside.

To follow Dad to the last frontier,

A long and rugged ride.

In a world made for boys and men,

She the one that took the reins.

Her smile filled our home with love,

Her strength consumed our pain.

To her very last day she held us all,

In a Mothers warm embrace.

A family bound together,

Through her dignity and grace.

Mom, I want to thank you,

For all your sacrifice and love.

There’s no need to worry anymore,

As you watch us from above.

At a time of few rewards,

We knew you’d lead us through.

For all the strength of a Mothers love,

Was passed to us through you.

Happy Mothers Day, Mom!
